1. 2006-2010- CREATIVE WORK: ‘Suwa Deepani’- The weekly Radio programme of the Faculty of Medicine, Ruhuna in collaboration with Ruhun Sevaya – medical issues were discussed with subject specialists. Conducted since 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010- 4 x half an hour programmes were recorded once a month. More than 100 programs were conducted by me.
2. 2007- CREATIVE WORK: Medical exhibition – 2007- The Chairperson of security. The Coordinator of the forensic stall. Forensic stalls attracted the highest number of people.
3. 2008- CREATIVE WORK: ‘Sithum Siyawel’- The annual cultural show- Chairperson of Publicity- 2008. Participated in a half-hour TV programme with a student in ITN. Arranged advertising in Rupavahini, Derana and ITN. Arranged a half an hour discussion with students in Rupawahini. Arranged a one-hour programme on cultural show in ITN.
4. 2009- CREATIVE WORK: Development of the ‘Medical Exhibition Centre’ at the Faculty of Medicine, Ruhuna. I was the secretary to the subcommittee of the MEC. Tirelessly worked with Prof. PL Ariyananda and 4 demonstrators to make that event a success. Opened for the public in May 2009. It is an educational as well as recreational centre. Attracts a lot of schoolchildren.
5. 2010 up to date – CREATIVE WORK: I organize the staff hardball cricket team of the Faculty of Medical Sciences for hardball cricket matches. We played for the second time with students.

• 2003-2005: The number of cadre posts was 4 (3 lecturers/senior lecturers and a Professor). There were 2 senior lecturers and a Professor in the staff. Therefore, 25% of excess workload above the norm.
• 2006-2007: Following the demise of Professor C. Niriella in 2005, there were only 2 lecturers. Therefore, the excess workload was 50%.
• 2008-2010: In 2008, a probationary lecturer was recruited. Therefore, the excess workload was 25%.
• 2004-2010: Covering up of the medico-legal work of Prof. N Chandrasiri was done by me from 2004 to 2010.

LABORATORY PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT

1. 2005- LABORATORY DEVELOPMENT: Development of the Department Museum- Prepared the descriptions for almost all the museum specimens (soft tissue and skeletal). Students used to obtain them from the TO and had to hand them over before leaving the museum.
2. 2005- LABORATORY DEVELOPMENT: Special equipment was developed to bend Perspect sheets and improved the mounting process- Re-started mounting of specimens at the department of Forensic Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Karapitiya, Galle.
3. 2005- LABORATORY DEVELOPMENT: Re-started Histopathology slide preparation at the laboratory. A refrigerator and a microtome were purchased. Histokinet was repaired- at the Ruhuna, Faculty of Medicine
4. 2006- LABORATORY DEVELOPMENT: “Training of laboratory attendance on mounting of museum specimens” Trained 2 labourers at the Department of Pathology on mounting.
5. 2008- LABORATORY DEVELOPMENT: Proposal for Craniofacial Identification Centre was submitted to the faculty board and then to WHO biennium funds. The space was allocated at the department. Funds were allocated from WHO biennium. $ 5000 allocated from the voluntary grants. Unfortunately, did not receive any money in 2008-2010 until I transferred from the Faculty of Medicine Galle. Relevant research has been started.
6. 2009- LABORATORY DEVELOPMENT: Developed a “Video-Evidence recording Centre for abused childen-” at the Department of Forensic Medicine, Ruhuna.
